Conrad Sullivan is a photographer based out of Baltimore, MD and currently is pursuing his BFA in Photography at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Shooting with film, he uses photography as a medium to carefully construct a visual depiction of his concepts.
In his Swimmer series, instead of creating a relaxed connection between photographer and subject, he embraces the uncomfortable tension found between the two. This tension then passes through the camera and unto the film, and furthermore to the viewer who becomes allowed to voyeuristically analyze each swimmer’s individual body composition.
